TAKUMI Trade-In

Our TAKUMI Trade-In program renews quality kitchen knives through sustainable restoration. Each accepted knife upholds our dedication to preserving craftsmanship.

Each knife undergoes ultrasonic cleaning, repair, sharpening and polishing. All pieces receive certification with our Seisuke Hanko seal, verifying quality and performance.

How It Works

1. Trade in your used knives: Bring your old knives to our Portland location for evaluation.
2. Expert assessment: Our skilled craftsmen will assess the condition and determine trade-in value.
3. Quality restoration: Accepted knives undergo professional restoration including cleaning, sharpening, and repairs.
4. Certification process: Each restored knife receives our Seisuke Hanko stamp and certification documentation.
5. Return to service: Certified knives are made available to new owners at reasonable prices.
