Knife Engraving with Michiko Kubota

Join us for an extraordinary two-day event featuring master engraver Michiko Kubota, where traditional craftsmanship meets modern knife artistry.

Saturday, January 25

We're offering personalized knife engraving services throughout the day. Whether you're purchasing a new knife from us or bringing your own treasured blade, Michiko will be available to add her distinctive artistic touch.

We're also featuring an exclusive collection of Sakai Takayuki knives, where you can customize your own piece by selecting from beautiful 33-layer Damascus blades paired with various premium handle materials.

Throughout the day, we'll be serving complimentary grilled skewers from Bachchoy Boy and refreshing beverages including Momokawa sake.

Sunday, January 26

Sunday, January 26, presents a rare opportunity to learn directly from the master herself. We're hosting intimate engraving workshops where you can learn the basics of this traditional craft. With just four participants per session, you'll receive personalized attention as you discover the techniques of Japanese knife engraving.

Each one-hour class includes hands-on instruction and your own engraved keychain to take home as a memento. Classes are scheduled at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm, with the same delicious food and drink offerings as Saturday. The class fee is $50 per person, and space is limited.
