440C stainless steel offers high strength, moderate corrosion resistance, and good hardness and wear resistance. Heat-treated 440C achieves superior strength, hardness and wear resistance compared to other stainless alloys. Common applications include knife blades, surgical instruments, cutlery, and precision components.

Use and Care
- Do not attempt to cut, hit or chop frozen products or bones. The blade can chip or break.
