The Nata is a Japanese hatchet that combines a machete's versatility with an axe's precision. Built with carbon steel, it maintains a sharp edge for demanding forestry work. The blade measures about 6 inches long with a 9 inch natural wood handle. The Nata delivers power without bulk making it ideal for outdoor work like:

Hashi-Tsuki
The Nata comes in two traditional styles - without and with a blade guard (hashi-tsuki). The hashi-tsuki version features a protective hook at the tip of the blade, which prevents damage when the tool contacts the ground and aids in stripping bark from logs. This guard also provides additional control when performing detailed work.

USPS Ground Advantage (2-5 business days)
Ground Advantage packages are delivered in 2-5 business days and include USPS Tracking. Orders over $300 will be given Signature Confirmation and will require a signature upon delivery. Signature Confirmation can be waved if requested.

USPS Priority Mail (2-3 business days)

The cut-off time for USPS Priority Express is 10am PST. Express orders placed after 10am or on the weekend will be shipped out the following business day.
