About this experience

Join us for Chef's Night, where we celebrate the hardworking individuals who keep our city fed - that means you. It's a great opportunity to network, get to know, and catch up with fellow members of the Portland food industry.

This Chef's Night is on April 29, 5:30-7:30pm at Seisuke Knife. Our special guest is Chef Jeff Kim, the owner of Aji Fish Butchery and Executive Chef at Zilla Sake. With over 15 years of culinary experience, Jeff's journey is truly inspiring – from working with Chef Katsuya Uechi to creating magic at Bamboo Sushi in Portland. He will share his insights, showcase his knives, and prepare grilled salmon skewers. Your $5 RSVP ticket includes entry and a raffle for a knife chosen by Jeff.

The first 10 attendees can enjoy a free knife sharpening session. Bring your knives for a natural stone finish and engage in our knife trade-in program. Pre-order fish from Aji Fish Butchery at ajipdx.com for pick-up at the event.

We're offering 20% off for industry professionals and 10% off for other attendees on all store items. Don't miss our new Acre Knives and Seto pocket knives, as well as a few yet to be disclosed. Enjoy good food and company at Chef's Night. Reserve now!

Our Chef's Night events are love letters to the service industry. It's a chance for these awesome folks to feel celebrated for a change. Not to mention, meet fellow restaurant, food, and service industry folks. Everyone leaves in good spirits, and several more leave with a free kitchen knife and other goodies.

Too often, those in the service industry are the ones helping other people have fun. Rarely are they recognized or given the same opportunities. Together with the help of Chef Tu David Phu, we aim to change that.
